Created in 1995 through the grassroots efforts of many nonprofit leaders in Longview, the Longview Nonprofit Coalition (NPC) provides and coordinates networking and training opportunities to East Texas area nonprofit organizations to increase their effectiveness in meeting the needs of the community.

NPC now consists of a more than 40 nonprofit organizations in the greater Longview area. NPC offers monthly networking sessions and newsletters (the LINK) training sessions designed for staff development and organizational management, and an annual volunteer appreciation event celebrating the role of volunteers in the community.
